Vandalism was reported at a Greeneville car wash on Wednesday.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department responded to Wash Depot on Erwin Highway around 8:00 AM. The complainant said he had video and picture evidence of a man who pulled three pieces off of a car wash machine on the property.
The suspect was wearing khaki shorts and a black t-shirt. He had gone to an automatic washer, where he removed three threads off the spinner, while another man was washing his vehicle in the self-washing center. The vandalized pieces were discarded in front of the business before the suspect left the scene.
Damage was estimated at $300.
