US House of Representatives District 1 Democratic candidate David Kerr was the guest speaker for the monthly Greene County Democratic Party meeting Thursday evening at Walters State.

Fundraising efforts continue to the local Democratic Party. The next meeting of the party will be Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 pm at Walters State. The group, as they have been doing during recent months, will continue to receive donations for My Neighbor’s House. The May collection will be canned soup.
