The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports two teenagers avoided major injuries Wednesday afternoon in a single vehicle wreck on Old Stage Road.
The 16 year old driver of the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado and 14 year old passenger were both wearing seat belts according to the report.
The southbound truck ran off the right side of the roadway into a ditch-line. The truck then struck an embankment, overturned and rolled over onto its top before coming to rest in the middle of the roadway.
THP reports both the driver and passenger were treated for minor injuries at the scene by Greene County EMS. The Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad also responded to the 5:56 pm accident.
