Two suspects in the February thefts at Bath & Body Works in the Greeneville Commons have been arrested.
According to reports released Tuesday by the Greeneville Police Department, Tamysja M. Payne and Laquazja E. Brown, both of Knoxville, have been charged in connection with the thefts. Payne was arrested in Knoxville on April 11 and transported to the custody of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. Brown was arrested on April 28 by Greene County deputies.
The two are believed to part of the group of five women who came into the store on February 8 and February 28. The women took nearly $3,000 worth of items in the first incident and around $1,400 in the second.
Payne and Brown are both scheduled to appear in court on the shoplifting charges on Wednesday.
