Two people were arrested Sunday evening after they were spotted leaving a known drug area in Limestone.
A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department was on routine patrol around 5:30 PM when he saw a black SUV pulling out of a driveway in a known drug area. The deputy pursued the vehicle and located it sitting in a driveway on Cannon Loop.
The driver of the SUV, Denny Hensley of Little Warrensburg Road in Midway, was found inside the residence. He was charged with evading arrest and driving on a revoked license 2nd offense. A passenger in the vehicle, Tabitha McIntosh of Dogwood Street in Mosheim, was found to have a baggie containing a small amount of meth and a glass bong. She was charged with simple possession of a schedule 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
