Two people were injured in a wreck shortly after 7:30 Wednesday morning on the Erwin Highway at the Edens Road intersection.
A Chevy Tahoe driven by 55-year-old Jill Panther was traveling northbound on Erwin Highway while a Volkswagen Atlas driven by 56-year-old Tamara Bowman was traveling eastbound. Bowman’s vehicle attempted to cross Erwin Highway to continue on Edens Road and pulled into the path of Panther’s vehicle, resulting in the collision.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol report listed that Panther and Bowman were injured, but did not indicate if either received medical treatment. There was a juvenile female in the vehicle with Bowman, but no information was provided on any injuries.
