Two people were injured during an accident near the Greeneville Commons Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred around 5:30 AM on the East Andrew Johnson Highway, about 50 feet west of Justis Drive. According to the report, Kelly N. Bagg was slowing down to stop at a red light when Miriah A. Burdick crashed into the rear end of her vehicle.
Burdick was reportedly following too closely and told officers she looked down for a second before crashing. Both drivers were reported to have minor injuries. Bagg was taken to the hospital by EMS. Burdick was cited for following to close and for having no proof of insurance.
