Two people in a tent behind a Greeneville motel were charged with criminal trespassing.

The Greeneville Police Department responded Wednesday evening to Quality Inn on East Andrew Johnson Highway to the report of two people in the wooded area behind the motel. The suspects, Justin Dodson and Leslie Harding, were issued trespass warnings and told they had until Thursday morning to be off the property.

Officers were called back to the motel on Thursday morning. They reportedly found Dodson and Harding still on the property, in a tent, with no signs of leaving.

Harding and Dodson were placed under arrest for criminal trespassing and transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
