Two men , one who had to be revived using Narcan, face charges related to a Wednesday morning incident on Woodlawn Drive in Greeneville.
Greeneville Police responded to a 7:45 am call to a motor vehicle crash with two occupants unconscious. Upon arrival Narcan was used by Police to revive Skyllar Blackburn. As Police were about to administer a dose to the passenger, Mitchell Edmondson was beginning to regain consciousness. Edmondson then became combative with law enforcement. Once taken into custody, Edmondson of 6610 West Andrew Johnson Highway, Mosheim, refused medical treatment. He was charged with manufacture/resale/delivery of schedule one , possession of schedule two, prohibited weapons , drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, in addition to an outstanding warrant for Violation of Probation. Blackburn of 168 Blackley Creek Road, Limestone, after being released from the hospital, was charged with DUI, Implied Consent Violation, Driving on Revoked and Possession of Schedule one.
