No one was taken into custody on domestic assault charges last night but two people at the Bulls Gap residence at the time were later arrested on other charges.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department was called to a domestic altercation call at the Oasis Road home around 9:30 pm.
Michael A. Bennett of Oasis Road had left the scene when authorities arrived but was found a short time later sitting in a car at an Exit 23 gas station. He was taken into custody on a show cause theft warrant out of Sessions Court and warrants for Violation of Probation second and third offense.
Just after midnight, Terry Johnson was found hiding in a bathroom in the house where the orginal call came from. Johnson was charged with evading arrest.
Both are due in sessions court today.
