Two people from Mosheim were arrested yesterday after neighbors reported they crashed into their house on Mount Carmel Road.
According to the report, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department was assisting Mosheim Police Department. The two suspects Moises Jimenez Serrano and Alba Hernandez did admit to drinking prior to driving into the home. During an investigation, Serrano became agitated and was asked to calm down. He did briefly and then allegedly got irritated, began cursing at the victim and stepping towards her in an aggressive manner. He was detained and put into a patrol vehicle.
The female suspect Hernandez reportedly also got irritated, began cursing, and started ripping off the siding on the victim’s house. She was arrested and put into the officer’s vehicle. The report states Serrano started kicking the patrol car window, causing damage to the doorframe. Deputies opened the door and Serrano allegedly tried to get out the vehicle and started resisting.
They were both arrested with disorderly conduct and Serrano was charged with vandalism. Damage to the patrol vehicle was about $2,000.
