The twice delayed start of bridge work on East Andrew Johnson Highway over Snapps Ferry Road is expected to begin tonight.
Citing TDOT, Mayor Cal Doty announced yesterday implementation of the closure of the interior, or left lanes, north and south bound will begin tonight at 7 and be completed by 6 am Wednesday. TDOT says the comprehensive closure will include all drums, barrier rail, tape and shifts being installed overnight tonight.
