As residents prepare to celebrate Independence Day, the City of Tusculum reminds everyone that the possession, sale, use, discharge, and display of fireworks are prohibited within the corporate limits of the City of Tusculum under the City’s Municipal Code.
The City of Tusculum’s fireworks ordinance makes it unlawful for any person to possess, sell, ignite, explode, use, discharge, display, store, manufacture, or distribute fireworks within city limits. Violations may result in penalties as provided by city ordinance, and unauthorized fireworks may be subject to seizure by law enforcement officials.
While fireworks are prohibited within the City of Tusculum, residents and visitors are encouraged to enjoy a professional fireworks display following the Greeneville Flyboys Fourth of July baseball game.
