In a continuing effort to “never forget”, Tusculum firefighters, families, friends and other citizens gathered at the Tusculum Fire Department last night for their third annual walk remembering those firefighters who died in New York following the attacks on the World Trade Center September 11, 2001.

Following comments from Tusculum Fire Chief Marty Shelton and prayer led by Greene County Chaplain Danny Ricker, walkers including the firefighters in their equipment, left the headquarters via the walking trail to near Tusculum Place and back for the 3.43 mile trek honoring the 343 firefighters who died that day.
