A resident on Mount Hebron Road reported that someone got into her garage and stole ceramic tiles and laminate flooring. A trailer was also taken from the property.
The woman told the Greene County Sheriff’s Office on Monday when she left that morning, the door was locked and all the lights were off. When she arrived at the home later that day, the lights were on, but there was no sign of forced entry. The victim believes whoever broke in has a door key.
According to the report, there were other instances where items were stolen from the property. Two possible suspects were named in a report that was filed on September 6th, 2024. The stolen items included an RV portable tank, several tools, a weed eater, and other lawn yard equipment.
One of the individuals named in the report was hired for yard work and had access to the home. No charges had been filed at the time.
