The United Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire about 7:30 PM on Saturday.
The victim was driving his Dodge Ram 2500 on the Horton Highway when it first caught on fire. The driver pulled over and immediately called for help. The vehicle was declared a total loss.
The Baileyton Police Department as well as the Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded and assisted the United VFD.
