Approximately $5000 worth of tools were reported missing to police Friday morning from Ridgemont Drive.
The victim told police the tools were stored in a house he was building. A witness also told police that he had seen a box-van type vehicle in the driveway of the house around 10:00 Thursday morning.
Various items were reported missing including a ladder, toolbox, air compressor, nail gun, saws and drills.
Police were also called to investigate a burglary and theft of tools at Thornwood Drive Friday afternoon.
The victim reported the lock on his trailer was missing, possibly cut off, and several power tools missing. The victim stated he had locked up the trailer around 10 pm on Thursday and when he arrived to work Friday, the door was open.
Items missing include a toolbox, two circular saws, a hammer drill, and a Saws-All, with the loss valued at over $3000.
