Greeneville City Council member Tim Ward was recognized for his three years on the board and his years of service to Greeneville Tuesday during the final meeting of his term on the council.
Ward and Ginny Kidwell had both announced earlier they would not be seeking reelection.
Kidwell was not able to attend the Tuesday meeting but the board expects to recognize her time on the council during a September meeting.
Ward served the town for 36 years, the first thirty-three with the Greeneville Police Department prior to his time on City Council.
