Three people were injured, two were taken to area hospitals following a two vehicle wreck at 7:21 am Monday on the 70 Truck Route near Benbow Road.
A Greeneville Police Department report indicates vehicles involved were a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Danielle C. Haney and a 2002 Toyota Highlander operated by Kathy R. Franklin. According to the report, Franklin and a passenger, Derrick D. Grant were both taken by EMS to area hospitals, she to Greeneville Community Hospital and he to the Johnson City Medical Center. Haney and a child passenger were both checked at the scene but required no hospitalization.
The Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad, Greeneville-Greene County EMS, Greeneville Fire and Police responded to the accident near The Peaks of Greeneville apartment complex.
