The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting a sobriety roadside safety checkpoint today along the Asheville Highway in Greene County.
The checkpoint will be set up along the Asheville Highway in the area of Greenelawn Memory Gardens. During the checkpoint, troopers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, targeting those who are operating their vehicles while impaired and taking corrective actions for other observed violations.
The THP did not indicate what times today’s sobriety checkpoint will be active along the Asheville Highway.
