Police were called to investigate a theft from a local storage unit Friday afternoon.
The victim reported that sometime in the last week, the unit at Federal Storage on East Andrew Johnson Highway had allegedly been broken into. Missing included a gold diamond ring and cash totalling about $5200. According to the report, the combination lock on the unit had not been cut, and there were video cameras possibly recording in the area of the units.
