Theatre auditions are happening today and tomorrow, March 8-9, 2025, at Tusculum University.
Theatre-at-Tusculum in collaboration with the English program are holding auditions today and tomorrow, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Director Steve Schultz is seeking people older than 15 to fill between 12 and 25 roles in the plays set for April and early May performances.
Auditions will be for roles in the “5 x 10 Plays” which consist of five plays lasting about 10 minutes apiece, and which are written by Tusculum students, faculty and staff members and residents of Greene County.
However, due to the number of submissions received, Schultz decided to expand the number of plays to seven this year.
Shows will begin at 7:00 PM on April 25th, April 26th , May 2nd, and May 3rd. Shows on April 27th and May 4th will begin at 2:00 PM.
All shows will be hosted in the Behan and the following plays have been selected:
- “Home for Christmas” by Cheyenne Hewitt
- “In a Pickle” by Tate Haugen
- “The Final Stage” by Z.T. Mitchell
- “Sleeping Upstairs” by Bella Gall
- “Dead Mom’s Club” by Dodger Kirkland
- “The Phone Call” by Abigail Malone (a pen name)
- “White Cane Boy” by Tim Hagee and Steve Schultz
