The Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Fall Branch District, along with Niswonger Children’s Hospital, will host a free Child Safety Seat Checkpoint this week.
The checkpoint will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Texas Roadhouse location in Greeneville from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. All parents, grandparents, and caregivers of child seat-aged children are encouraged to attend.
Certified technicians will install all types of child passenger seats for attendees, including rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats.
Techs will also inspect previously installed seats for correct installation, and they will be able to answer any questions the public may have regarding the correct seat for children based on age, height, and weight.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol remains committed to keeping Tennessee’s roadways safe for all motorists, especially our child passengers.
