A Telford man was charged with aggravated domestic assault after an incident involving a baseball bat and a lawnmower blade on Friday.
Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call. 60-year-old Mark A. Horton reportedly beat on the home’s door with a baseball bat demanding to be let inside. He gained entry to the home and threatened three people with a lawnmower blade. Once he retrieved items from a safe, he left the home before deputies arrived.
Horton came to the Washington County Detention Center on Saturday to inquire if his wife had reported their car stolen. Deputies then took him into custody without incident on the aggravated domestic assault charge.
