A Telford man was arrested for aggravated domestic assault following an incident that occurred Tuesday, July 14 at a residence in the 100 block of Meadowview Lane in Washington County.
According to Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies responded to the scene on Wednesday, July 15. The victim reported that 52-year-old Stanley Brian Casey choked her, drug her into the living room, took her by the hair, and pushed her onto the floor. Deputies observed bruises on the victim from the altercation.
Deputies with the Unicoi County Sheriff’s Department located Casey later that day and he was taken into custody. Casey was being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond prior to his court appearance Thursday, July 16.
