A Telford man has been arrested after he was identified as a package thief.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help Monday in identifying the man who was caught on a security camera stealing a package off a porch on McKinley Road in Johnson City. A tip reported to the office led to the identification of 49-year-old Charles Stoneman of Telford.
Deputies narrowed down Stoneman’s location and took him into custody for theft. He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Stoneman also had three outstanding warrants in Sullivan County for failure to appear.
