Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle fire on Warrensburg Road in Mosheim Tuesday morning.
The vehicle reportedly sustained heavy fire damage. The front windows and windshield were broken with glass scattered. A witness spoke with deputies and said there was a white Honda parked in the driveway the morning of the fire. A man with a plaid shirt was seen getting into the car and left outbound on Warrensburg Road before the smoke and flames started.
According to the report, the victim was in the process of selling the vehicle and there were others that were using it, but the victim got the vehicle back in her possession. The lights inside were reportedly acting erratic and it had an electrical smell. The radio was also going on and off for some time as well.
The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire. The report states the origin of the fire was in the front passenger side compartment. The cause was undetermined as of Tuesday.
