A vehicle stolen from a motor vehicle shop was found this morning at the 1700 block of West Andrew Johnson Highway and the Manager states the cameras were tampered with.
Officers responded around 12:30 AM to check on a vehicle that was in the road and found a black Honda Talon sitting in the middle of the merge lane on the WAJH. The vehicle was reportedly found unoccupied, with the driver side door open, and the vehicle still in drive. After putting the vehicle in park and turning off the vehicle an officer found a red gas can on the floorboard.
During the investigation the Greeneville Police Department discovered the vehicle was stolen. It was towed to the shop it was stolen from this morning. While speaking to the manager, he stated another vehicle, a red Honda Talon, was also stolen. Two cameras were also allegedly tampered with and the gate to the shop was cut.
