The suspect in the stabbing death of his mother in back in Tennessee following his indictment last week.
24 year old Zoe Lynn Knight is chargfed with first degree murder in the death of 52 year old Lisa Lynn Goode last December at her Newport home.
Goode was a 1992 graduate of Greeneville High School.
Following his indictment, Knight was taken into custody last week by North Carolina authorities. Cocke County deputies returned Knight to Tennessee on Friday. He is being held on $1 million bond. Due to the serious nature of the crime, Cocke County Sheriff C.J. Ball told Radio Greeneville NewsMonday Knight is being held in the Blount County Jail. Cocke County has been forced to transfer many inmates to other locations as a result of damage caused in that county by the September flooding
