Jessica Colter Memorial Scholarship applications are now open.
A $2,000 scholarship award will be given to one student from each of the high schools in Greeneville and Greene County. Any high school senior from class 2023 is invited to compete for this one-time scholarship, but students must be in a medical-related field.
The scholarship was done in memory of Jessica Colter, a 2017 graduate from Greeneville High School, who was on the Dean’s List in Nursing School at ETSU. After an automobile accident ended her life at 21 years old in December 2020, friends and family raised money for a scholarship in her memory. The Scholarship is a volunteer-run non-profit in Greeneville. It provides annual financial scholarships to deserving and driven students pursuing a medical career.
The application deadline is March 31st, 2023. Only complete applications with the appropriate materials attached will be reviewed. The application and more details can be found on jessicacolterscholarship.com.
