A structure on Clear Springs Road was destroyed by fire late Thursday afternoon but no injuries were reported.
Several first responders from Greene and Washington County responded to the call near the county line.
The Limestone Volunteer Fire Department reported being dispatched to the structure fire with explosion. Upon their arrival, the fire was heavily involved. Tusculum, Sulphur Springs and Newmansville Volunteer Fire Departments also arrived for mutual aid. Crews were able to quickly bring the fire under control without injuries.
Also responding were Greene County EMS, Washington County/Johnson City EMS and the Greene County and Washington County Sheriff’s Departments.
