The South Greene FFA Chapter is celebrating strong performances by its Conduct of Chapter Meetings (CCM) and Parliamentary Procedure teams following recent district and regional competitions.
The CCM team earned 1st place at the district level before placing 3rd at the regional competition. This impressive performance is especially notable as the team was made up entirely of freshmen, showcasing the strength of South Greene FFA’s emerging leaders. Team members include Jillian Freeark, Kinley Clark, Keaton Barnes, Lyla Boyle, Leah King, Mia Dodds, and Raylee Johnson.
The Parliamentary Procedure team achieved an outstanding 1st place finish at both the district and regional competitions, They now qualify to compete at the Tennessee FFA State Convention. This team demonstrated advanced understanding of parliamentary procedure, effective communication, and strong decision-making skills. Team members include Brynna Wilhoit, Kaydence Deweese, Bailey Ricker, Aiden Hawk, Brayden Tompkins, and Cannon Wilhoit.
Both teams represent the core mission of FFA by developing leadership, confidence, and public speaking skills through hands-on competitions. Career and Leadership Development Events help students develop skills that extend from the classroom into future careers and community leadership.
