Greene County 9-1-1 Director Jerry Bird and EMA Director Heather Sipe are alerting citizens of a test of the Greene County SMART911 ALERT SYSTEM today at 11:30 am.
Those who have registered for the service should receive the test alert. If you have signed up and do not receive it on your cell phone, check your smart phone settings to ensure they are set to receive.
If you have a LAND LINE & do not receive the TEST ALERT at 11:30 this morning, please call the Non-Emergency Number (423) 638-8663 , for Greene County 911 and pick Option1 for the Administrative Offices. They can assist you with adding your land line to the system.
These TESTS will be done quarterly (approximately every 3 months) The Community will be notified ahead of the TEST DATE.
