At approximately 4:15 this morning, South Greene Firefighters responded to a single vehicle crash in the 2300 block of West Allen’s Bridge Road. According to the South Greene Fire Department, a vehicle had left the roadway and struck multiple trees before coming to rest in a drainage ditch. The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was transported by Greene County EMS with apparent minor injuries.
Other agencies on scene were the Greene County Sheriff’s Dept and Greeneville Emergency and Resue Squad. More information may be available once an incident report is ready.
