The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating what was described to them as a case of road rage which led to three shots being fire from the vehicle on Lonesome Pine Trail late Saturday night. The complainant said said three shots were fired from the passengers side of the red Monte Carlo.
Three 9 millimeter casings were recovered. A possible suspect and questioned was but none of the firearms he produced had been fired.
The investigation continues.
