A shed on Kingsport Highway property was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon.
Jason Tilley of 12255 Kingsport Highway reported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department he found the shed on fire as he went outside. The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Tilley reported he was burning in a fire pit nearby about three days earlier.
The Newmansville, Fall Branch and Limestone Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the 9-1-1 dispatch shortly after 3 pm. The shed was valued at around $10,000, according to the report.
