Sewer work will continue in the section of North Main Street from Spencer Street to Doughty Avenue over the next couple of weeks, with the possible extension up to North Hill Street.
According to a press release from the Greeneville Water Commission, this phase of work is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting. The closure of this section will continue through July 28.
Thru traffic will not be permitted during this phase, but residents and business patrons will maintain access to properties within the work zones. And Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
Additionally, the Water Commission states that they appreciate the patience and cooperation as they work to improve Greeneville’s infrastructure.
