Almost 20 separate reports were filed Monday for theft of motor vehicle or suspicious behavior relating to a vehicle.
Most of the reports were filed by residents on Indian Hills Circle, Britton Avenue, and Rolling Hills Road. Several residents on Indian Hills Circle reported the theft between 6-10 AM. Two residents said their handguns were stolen, one victim stated $280 was stolen. Another Indian Hills Circle resident reported about $40 was stolen along with a wallet and purse containing several important items.
Other residents stated nothing was missing from the vehicle and the suspect rummaged through it. A resident from the 90 block of Indian Hills Circle said her keys, medication, a backpack, and her wallet was allegedly stolen from her truck and she found the truck door open Monday morning.
Video footage was requested from the Apartment Complex. No suspects were known at the time of the reports. Most of the vehicles were reportedly left unlocked overnight.
