It has been 25 years, believe it or not, since the September 11 attacks: A series of commercial airplane hijackings and suicide attacks committed in 2001 by 19 terrorists, killing over 3,000 people.
Included in those deaths, were 343 firefighters. Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department is holding their annual memorial walk on Friday, September 11th to honor the 343 firefighters who gave everything.
The community is invited to join Tusculum Volunteer Firefighters at the station to walk 3.43 miles along the Tusculum Trail, as they walk to remember and honor the ultimate sacrifice 343 firefighters made on September 11, 2001.
