A woman’s seatbelt was cut off her pickup truck at some point on Pike Road.
The Greeneville woman told deputies she was running errands this past weekend and noticed the seatbelt on the passenger side of her Nissan Frontier truck was cut. According to the report, her dog was known to chew the seatbelts before but these were not dog chews. It appeared as if the seatbelt was cut with a knife.
No suspects were known at the time and it is unknown as to why this would be done.
