There were several road closures at railroad tracks in downtown Greeneville Wednesday and some will be affected today as well.
North Irish, Willis, West Irish, and Crossover Streets were closed while Norfolk Southern was replacing railroad ties and paving in those areas.
The road will remain closed at North Irish and the railroad tracks until 8 am today (Thursday).
West Irish and Crossover will be paved today and are expected to be open for traffic again sometime Friday.
Hartman and Hal Henard were closed beginning at 5 am today. Those crossings will be closed for a few days to allow for replacement of the ties and paving.
