Greene County Planner Lyn Ashburn has sent a revised copy of the proposed campground regulations to Planning Commission members ahead of their Tuesday meeting.
A two hour work session last week to go over the first draft of regulations resulted in several changes. The copy sent by Ashburn includes some text in red print, indicating changes made during the work session or in her opinion, has the potential to receive the most public input.
In the updated proposal, Ashburn says in case the Planning Commission doesn’t feel comfortable recommending the updated proposal, she will have a more bare bones version available at the meeting on Tuesday. If the shortened version is recommended, staff would bring the remainder of the proposed resolution back to the planning commission at a later date to request the proposal be revised to add the additional information.
If the proposal were to be approved on Tuesday during the 1 pm meeting, it could be on the agenda for the full County Commission to consider when it meets a week from tomorrow.
