State Representative Steve Southerland was also in attendance at the Republican party meeting on Monday.
Southerland updated party members on Tennessee’s first small nuclear reactor, which will be located below Oak Ridge.
He also spoke of AI and Chat GPT and the need for fiber optics, crediting the Greeneville Energy Authority for their ongoing efforts countywide. Fiber optics he says also plays a major part in recruiting industry in addition to the education field.
