Next week, Radio Greeneville will air interviews with the candidates on the ballot in the August 1 Town of Greeneville municipal election.
While there are other candidates and municipalities on the ballot, the only contested races are those for Town of Greeneville Mayor and two Greeneville Town Council seats.
Radio Greeneville will air interviews with mayoral candidates W. T. Daniels and incumbent mayor Cal Doty on Monday.
Interviews for the five candidates vying for the two Town Council seats will be split between Tuesday and Wednesday. Incumbent Scott Bullington and newcomer Jonathan Cave will have their interviews aired on Tuesday, with challengers Matt Hensley and Peter Higgins followed by incumbent Tim Teague will have their interviews aired on Wednesday.
The interviews will air beginning after the 10AM news on 99.5 FM and AM 1340 WGRV. We will also post the audio to our webpage after they air next week.
