The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is offering a project to local Veterans for mental health support whenever they may need it.
The project, Make the Connection, connects Veterans, their families and friends, and other supporters to mental health information, resources, and solutions to issues affecting their lives. There are tools for finding local mental health resources – maketheconnection.net/resources, and hundreds of videos of Veterans sharing their stories of recovery. The site is an online resource, free to use and accessible to everyone. Make the Connection has interviewed hundreds of Veterans from all branches and eras of service since their launch in 2011.
