The Greene County Planning Commission has forwarded a recommendation from the Special Committee on Land and Property Issues to the County Commission for their consideration. Approval took place during the meeting of the Planning Commission today at the Greene County Government Administration Center. The resolution will be on the agenda for the January meeting of the full commission.
Amendment of the resolution for continuance of Nonconforming Use would allow owners of all properties that have access to a public road only by right-of-way or easement to be issued one (1) building permit provided the subject property was subdivided into this state prior to the effective date of July 1, 2006. This would also require the property owner to have written documentation provided by an attorney or surveyor attesting to the legality to the egress and ingress to said property.
