A Greeneville man was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle on Snapps Ferry Road.
It accident occurred just before 9:30 pm on Snapps Ferry Road near Thornwood Drive when 36 year old Tiras D. Brice of Wesley Avenue was struck by the vehicle near the railroad tracks.
The driver of the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, 32 year old Cameron Waters of Afton told police he did not see the pedestrian in time to avoid the collision due to the time of day and no street lighting in that area.
Brice was taken by EMS to the Medical Center for treatment of leg injuries. Neither Waters or his passenger were injured. No charges were filed.
