A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning on East Andrew Johnson Highway near CCU Boulevard.
The accident occurred around 2:00 am when a 2001 Dodge Ram driven by 35-year-old Michael Waldner was traveling west on East Andrew Johnson Highway. A pedestrian, identified as 55-year-old William Tadder, was struck by the truck as he was apparently attempting to cross the road.
The accident report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol did not provide details about the severity of Tadder’s injuries or medical transport. Waldner was not injured.
