Greeneville Interim City Manager Cathy Osborne said Tuesday she expects a new Parks and Recreation Director will be announced in August.
Her comments came during the June meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board at the Eastview Recreation Center. The meeting was the first of the board since March.
Osborne confirmed the retirement of Butch Patterson effective May 29, which she noted was how long, twenty nine years, Patterson served as Director.
Parks and Recreation Athletic Director Tim Bowman presided over the meeting on Tuesday.
