A sophomore at Greenville High School has achieved remarkable success in the Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association (TMTA)
Trey Bailey earned first place honors at Tusculum University this past April and second place at the regional level. Bailey has now secured sixth place in the state level in Algebra 1.
The TMTA math competition brings together the brightest young minds in six different areas of mathematics, making Bailey’s achievements even more impressive.
Bailey has many noteworthy comments made by his teachers, Principal, and coach mentioning his dedication to both his academics and his peers. Principal Deanna Martin states “Trey has always demonstrated an outstanding performance in his academics by making high grades and showcasing a strong commitment to learning within all levels of courses.”
